Rounding out the top 10 are Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Canada, New Zealand, Sweden and Australia.

I do love me some open spaces, but racism is definitely one of the many, many problems I have with this country and the people who live here.

Still, scraping into the top 10 might mean this country isn't quite as bad as I think. Relative to some of the others, at least.

For me, i simply calculate who live the longest are the happiest because they out last the others.

Not mid-winter it isn't. A friend of mine visited Finland at the beginning of spring, and thought there was something scary about the manic and desperate intensity with which Finns greeted the season. She said it was almost demonic.
