Well, I thought that in my short time I had heard some good songs, but I have heard one of the best...

Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley

My, my, my this is one great song! It's slow, it's moving, it's simply beautiful!

I have so many favorite songs, but Im not quite sure about a 'world's greatest song'.

Must be something by Alanis Morissette...

Ironic or You Learn

Songs I think deserve a nomination are;

Timbaland presents One Republic - Apologize
Eva Cassidy - Time after Time
Duran Duran - Dust in the Wind
Dido - White Flag
Alanis Morissette - Ironic
Daft Punk - Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger
Classified ft. Chad Thatcher - All About U
City High - What would you Do
Bon Jovi - Living on a Prayer
Black Sabbath - Crazy Train
Black Eyed Peas - Where is the Love
Will Smith ft. Mary J Blige - Tell me Why
Linkin Park - Hands held High, Numb
Ludacris ft. Mary H Blige - Runaway Love
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Freebird
Wierd Al Yancovic - What if God smoked Cannabis
Not sure on artist - What if god was one of us
Aerosmith - Knocking on Heavens Door
Michael Jackson - Thriller
Perfect Circle and John Lenon's version - Imagine
Ben Moody ft. Anastacia - Everything Burns

James Blunt - Your Beautiful
John Mayer - Daughters, Waiting on the World to change
Justin Nozuka - After Tonight
Justin Timberlake - Cry me a River
Kanye West ft. Adam Lavine - Heard em Say
Missy Elliot - Get ur freak on
Nelly Furtado - I'm like a Bird, Turn off the lights
Oasis - Wonderwall
Our Lady Peace - Innocent, Life, Superman's Dead
Papa Roach - Last Resort
Pink - Dear Mr. President, Family Portrait
Pink Floyd - Dark side of the Moon, We Don't Need no Education
Plain White T's - Hey there Delilah
Queen(bout time, eh) - Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions
Rammstein - America
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Scar Tissue, Tell me Baby, Snow(Hey Oh)
From RENT - Seasons of Love
Rise Against - Give it all, Ready to fall
Santana ft. Chad Kroeger - Into the night
Chad Kroger ft. Josee Scott(and other musicians) - Hero

Must I go on to make my point? Unless there is a world wide poll, that is nearly 100% accurate, there will be no World's greatest song.

...
Duran Duran - Dust in the Wind
...

Kansas made Dust in the Wind.. it is a great song though... and i know what your talking about everyone has different tastes.

oh and Aerosmith might have covered "Knocking on Heavens Door" but it's originally Gun's and Rose's.

Hard to Concentrate is one of my all time favorite Red Hot Chili Peppers songs!

I could honestly nominate over a thousand songs, but of all of them, the one that probably steps above them is John Lennon's Imagine.

Um, no.

Personally I don't like his version of Hallelujah, though it is a great song. My personal favouritest song in the world is Evanescences My Immortal.

Imagine - John Lennon

Bohemian Rhapsody- Queen

Over The Rainbow - Judy Garland

Respect - Aretha Franklin

Billie Jean - Michael jackson
