Worried! What are chances of catching HIV?

So i hooked up with random guy i met who said was hiv- and had anal sex with a condom but i cant seem to stop worrying of what if i caught something, am i just being over dramatic. You can never ignore these kind of things. I sucked him too but he didnt precum, and he came inside the condom. What are the chances of being in danger or how can you actually catch something. :confusedI just wanna play it safe you know.....

No, your not being overly dramatic since it really only takes one time of exposure to contract it. There are four fluids that transmit HIV, and Im guessing that you dont come into contact with a whole lot of breast milk or vaginal secretions, so really blood and semen are the ways that men who have sex with men get it. It was smart to wear a condom, which you should always do when hooking up, but there is always a chance to get HIV still. Although you said he didnt precum, its kinda hard to tell after you have been working his dick which fluids are yours or his, and a small cut in your gums or an open sore in you mouth could be a place for it to enter your bloodstream. My advice, if you have anonymous sex, get tested regularly. Its the only way to know for sure.

i don't think you can ever be too safe. that said, there's also no way to be sexually active and 100% safe. try to limit hook ups to people you at least know a little bit. if they are the local cum dumpster or a heroine addict its best to stay clear. avoiding ATM, swallowing cum and never go anal w/o a rubber.

Also, remember that there is such a thing as flavored condoms. If you're going to hook up randomly and you worry about it, then you should use one if you are giving a blowjob.
