For me I'd have to say it's a tie:
First: Pink's ironically titled "I'm Not Dead." I bought this Dual-Disc package on the day it came out back in April, I think (I'm still not even sure what the DVD in it contains). It was my first Pink purchase (and probably the last).
I think I've played it two or three times since then. Nothing stands out for me. I really must admit that I love the song she does with The Indigo Girls but oddly enough that's one of the rare tracks on the opus that actually got bad reviews.
My second choice is Beck's "The Information." Beck is one of my Top 20 Favorite Artists of All-Time and so it was certainly not my first Beck album. I have all of his stuff back to '93.
Like Pink, nothing stands out as remarkable from "Information." In fact I think I have played "Odelay" and "Sea Change," earlier work from Beck moreso after "Information" has come out. I hope Beck re-groups and puts out something better next time out.
What did everybody else find a shocking disappointment in '06?
