Worst CGI?

I cant think of any off the top of my head, but the modern Dr Who series and Torchwood do great CGI when you consider their tiny budget, they show you there is no need for dodgy CGI

I was thinking of the part where she escapes the jail and jumps from the top of the building... Goooooood

I saw that movie more than once in theaters... (Of course, I worked at the theater at the time, so all times were free...)

OMG I saw it twice. I went once when it opened and a week later when I got a free pass when I brought some other movie on DVD. I can't believe I sat through it twice. :D

vanhelsing... it was bad enough the movie was just, stupid. but the effects were just plain cheesy.

^ I'm ashamed to say that I've seen that more than once, too...

Yeah --but when Jackman did turn in to the werewolf---(Show Of hands)--how many watched that scene over and over in slow-mo?

How about this?

I don't know the name of this, but I ran into that clip and it was so bad and funny.

Those old dinosaur documentaries. God, the Dino movements were sooo fake!

Oh, I don't know about all of them. Walking with Dinosaurs was quite realistic and I quite enjoyed Prehistoric Park.

But I've seen some pretty crappy documentaries as well with crappy graphics that make the original King Kong look good.

I don't have a clue. I remember getting it as an e-mail (perhaps as an animated gif?) years ago, long before youtube etc. Back then, it was probably state of the art.

gotta agree with SciFi self made movie of the week... terrible CG

the Mist had aweful CGI texturing
Eragon had bad CGI

I'm sure there are lots more, prolly so bad I don't want to remember them

The Lawnmower Man (1992) has really cheesy effects, in fact I think I can remember seeing the individual pixels at some points. http://imdb.com/title/tt0104692/

But then that was 1992.

Oh I always found the movie Tron to have some great effects for its age, and the way the characters glowed, although not CGI was very impressive and highly stylised.

Tron was ahead of its time. I can only imagine what it would look like with today's technology. I bought the DVD and the 'extras' explained how they did the glow. Interesting stuff.

I've got that DVD too, it's the 20th edition.

If your into your video games play Tron 2.0 it's treated like the films 'sequel' which I don't buy into but although its lacking any real depth the visual aspects are gorgeous and somewhat true to the film, although adapted to the modern world.
