You are on a date, second one to be exact.
At a concert, and a couple squeezes by to go to their seats.
Your date, completely stares at the guys butt , and then two seconds later comments on how nice his ass is. Within earshot.

Maybe I'm different than most guys, but seriously?? How does saying that make me more attracted to you?

On another note, Death Cab was fucking AMAZING.

I did that to a guy I was dating...he was pissed. He tried to hide it, but I could tell it hurt his feelings.

lol nice.

I have a "look but don't touch" rule. Maybe he's just use to being open like that. If
you're really interested in him let him know that you don't appreciate it. Communication is key ..|

I wouldnt care less... this could be a flirting technique, pretending u dont care of the guy to get his attention..

Well i'd be laughing and making fun of him ;)

i've had a couple boyfriends that i've cruised guys with like - "cute guy at 2o'clock", or a favorite tv or movie star in common, etc, but that kinda relationship takes some time to work up to.. commenting (loudly) on another guy's ass on the 2nd date is a little much..

I have to say No, I would do it. Its just a comment on what was probably a cute ass! He's not blind, and you both saw it, he is just honest.

He went over and chatted the the guy for 2 hours would annoy me, but a comment Blah, normal. But judging by the other comments, people disagree.

it would be one thing to look, but to make a verbal comment within your hearing range was pretty tacky.

Exactly CJ......Some Gay couples do that after they've dated a few months..A guy should not be so "obvious and in your face" while checking out other guys/girls when he's casually dating...

When that has happened to me I won't comment or smile and the conversation CHANGES very quickly...It's all about self-control and knowing when to just keep some things to yourself...

Of course it would annoy me! Everything annoys me! Wait, what are we talking about?

*readreadread*

Ah. I'd also say it was tacky...but not so much for the words themselves as the commenting loudly enough for the other person to hear, which wanders the outskirts of Looking rather close to the borders of Flirting.

Looking is not only harmless, it's healthy. People who expect their dates to pay exclusive attention to them simply make me tired... yes, it is polite to look at your date when he's talking, but if you're both facing the same direction in a huge crowd, you're supposed to look around you... and if you see something you like, you're apt to drool a bit.

Flirting, however, is not to be countenanced unless you're both very comfortable with each-other and have discussed it beforehand.

And, now I think on it, making suggestive comments to passersby who are not on display isn't as close to Flirting as it is to Rude. It's taken me years to train my best friend to not do that because it embarrasses me and the recipient of the remark as well; I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable with a date who does it.

So yes, I would be annoyed. But I wouldn't let that be the straw that broke the camel's back.

^ Agreed. Plus it's only the second date, how much commitment is there at that point? If you two were already exclusive it might annoy me somewhat, but again, you're both guys and you both can appreciate a nice ass, so why get offended?

Well. something kinda like that happened when I was on a date. After a hockey game, we went to a hotel cocktail lounge. My date couldn't stop looking at the (actually, quite) attractive man near us.
I knew then that I was not even close to being in the running for his potential new boyfriend.
Oh, well, we're still friends. I know where I stand.

I wouldn't say it's annoying, but if a guy keeps his attention focused on you even when there are other hot guys in the room, it's a HUGE turn-on. :)
