Hey all!

I was wondering, my boyfriend who is 25 is graduating from college next week and I was wondering do you think a one hour deep tissue massage would be a good graduation gift? I give him massages all the time.

Thanks! :)

Yep...I've got some other ideas up my sleeve in addition to that ;).

I am talking about a professional deep tissue massage at a spa.

:)

Maybe he'd prefer something he could keep as a permanent reminder. A wrist watch maybe?

Since you give him massages many times, I would suggest give him something else... something more memorable, such as a get away weekend at a nice resort hotel (then you can do your massage routine.. maybe with a new fragrant oil or something) and give him something as a permanent reminder such as a personalized Cross pen or pen/pencil set.

thanks everyone for the advice! I do want to give him something as a reminder and to show him how proud and how much I love him. He doesn't really wear watches and he already has a job as nurse. I just think too hard about gifts.

Any other ideas?

Also, we are planning on going on a road trip together in a couple weeks. :)

As part of a gift how about a paperweight which, depending what it was, could remind him of you, or his school, etc.?

I think the massage is a great idea. Then again I'm a little biased. I'm going to graduate from massage therapy school end of June. If you lived here in Atlanta I'd give you a great deal on an hours massage. Look around and find a reputable therapist. I'd be wary of the chain spa's. Find a therapist that is certified in NeuroMuscular therapy. They are very good at isolating specific muscles. Makes a huge difference. It wont be some "fluff n buff" garbage. A lot of therapists will come to your home. Some people find that to be more comfortable and can relax better.

Sounds like you have other gift ideas in mind as well as the massage. I think it's a good idea. Will help him unwind after finals and get ready for board exams. Do a little looking around and find a good therapist.

Steven.
