LOL. I rephrase the question then.:

Would you accept dating someone who had previously paid for sex with someone who sold sex for a living, as opposed to having paid for it in a cynical dating manoeuvre, hoping that materialism would get him laid.

The past is the past. I've had sex with prostitutes but didn't pay anything except drinks and a night out. When in a relationship, I don't ask and don't answer questions of who had sex with whom.

Not "would you pay for sex with a prostitute" but "would you date someone who did." The point being, paying for sex with a prostitute is different than "paying" for sex with someone you're dating and hoping to get lucky with.

Of course as a former prostitute (many tricks), partnered with another former prostitute (a few tricks), I find it difficult to understand why this would be a problem.
Actually, former is not quite accurate. A few weeks ago I ran into an old client, and we decided to meet again and fuck. Which we did. I thought we'd be fucking simply as old friends, but the guy insisted on paying, saying it was more exciting that way. I have to admit he was right.

I don't know. I've never really thought of it before. I think I would be queasy just knowing what kind of sex the average guy in general has done vs. paying for it in the past.
 
We've all paid for or been paid for sex at some point in our past...

Actually I have plans on dating someone in the near future that gets paid for sex, but that's another story entirely

Some of you are doing the math like this:

$200 on drinks and dinner followed by sex is in every way equivalent to $200 on just calling a prostitute to come over.

I don't think so at all. I think that showing someone hospitality in contemplation of some future connection is very different than hiring someone to behave sexually toward you.
 
Though I like béchamel as much as the next guy (more probably)…. I have always preferred to dine at the private table of a gourmand who cooks simply for the pleasure of all things gastronomic, rather than to hire a caterer. Is that so out of step? I would've thought Gordon Ramsay would put anyone off eating at restaurants.

Not at all. Personal preferences are all different. Its not bad either way.

Some nights I want romance and I call a prostitute.

Other nights I want to be used like a cheap piece of meat and not called back for a week. That's when I call my husband.

I definitely would because sex doesn't get anymore no strings attached than that. Hell If I wanted some nsa sex with a sexy guy and had the money to pay for it then I would lol. I would pay an escort for it though and not some random guy I was attracted to lol. I could get plenty sex for free but it can be complicated because the other guy might like you too much when you don't want anything more than sex, but you hopefully won't have that problem with an escort haha.
 
Of course, as long as they didn't have any diseases, and I was attracted to them.
 
No, I'd really have to think about it...as hot as it sounds...in real life I'd be worried about diseases, honesty, etc..
