This seems to be the going thing these days. Coffee makers and espresso machines in the bathroom. Matt Muenster puts them in a lot of his bathrooms on DIY.

Wouldn't it be easier and more hygienic to carry one in from the kitchen?

My first thought was a hotel.

My home is not a hotel.

So, no.

I can wait until I am finished with my business before I have a cup of coffee. Besides, I need cream in my coffee.

I would totally love a cup of coffee when I'm sitting in the bathtub.

NO! Just like the time I saw a cat walking on the counters at a friend's house, if I saw a coffee maker in the bathroom, I'd never eat anything made by anyone at that home.

That's disgusting.

No, it isn't sanitary. I also saw an episode where Matt put a bar in the bathroom. That's pretty disgusting.

Rich people with 2000 square foot bathroom should.

I've seen them in some bathrooms in nicer hotels, but usually the new style where the toilet is in a separate area that looks like a closet.

It makes no sense to have it in the bathroom. If you need it that quick just set it up the night before and start it in the morning, or have one with a timer that stats itself and if ready when you wake up,

The short answer is no. Besides, I don't think it would generally be considered safe to have an electrical appliance like that in a bathroom.

My master bath is 132 sq. ft. which is relatively a decent size. That said, I would never in a million years want to have my coffee maker in my bathroom. A TV? Yes! Coffee maker? Um.... no.

Now I suppose if you don't have a master bedroom on the same level as the kitchen, and up a flight or two of stairs, then maybe I could see it, but I would rather see it in a nice built in wet-bar location in the bedroom portion, not the bathroom portion of the master suite.

Not sure I ever seen a hotel put one in the actual bathroom. All the ones I have seen were actually in the vanity area just outside the bathroom. Still, a goofy concept especially at home.

Put it in the walk-in closet with a mini-fridge for cream/juice.

No and no.

Not in the bathroom, and not carried in to the bathroom. Wouldn't it be easier just to put a toilet in the middle of the kitchen?

See?

No. Just no.
