Sorry to stray from your all Americans are assholes meme,but I just figured I'd counter your juvenile post about how all cops are bullies with a widely publicized account of my cousin who,far from being a bully,often put herself into situations that would make me piss myself,to help other people in during some of the worst moments of their lives..She has far more patience with people than just about anybody I've ever met..That's not to say she won't chuck a stupid fuck down a flight of stairs,but they usually have to make that decision for her..

I was a cop for over twenty years. Im surprised at the negative cooments here about the police. Most guys I know from my years on the dept. Acted as professionally as possible under some of the most difficult situations. Id suggest to the op that he at least make a move to get to know the guy before deciding. Maybe a cup of coffee or two, a couple of nice chats to see what he is all about before you decide that he is some sort of prick simply because of his chosen profession.

I've had plenty of dealings with cops..Some of them are pricks out to hem you up.Most of them though,at least in my dealings,(and I've been arrested 11 times on dumb shit charges) are just as courteous to you as you allow them to be..

I've NEVER been arrested for something I didn't do,and unlike a couple of my brothers,I don't box with the cops..Even if you get a few licks in,they are gonna beat the shit out of you,plus load you up with a bunch of charges..It's not worth it..When I got popped,I never figured it was their fault.It was my fault.If I wasn't doing dumb shit,they would have left me alone..

That mans name was Ian Thomlinson, he was a newpaper vendor on his way home from the pub, during the 2009 G20 protests in London. That fascist prick hit him in the back of the leg with his baton and pushed him to the deck for no reason other than the fact that he was standing there. He wasn't even part of the protest.. He died about 15 minutes later from internal bleeding. Before that, that same pig was seen smashing a protesters head into the door of a meat wagon. This disgrace of a human being was one of dozens caught on camera that day brutaly assaulting members of the public, most of whom were peacfeful protesters. This is was not just the situation getting to them, this is the way pigs around the UK behave at every major protest and in fact, in their eveyday work. I know there are a few good apples out there, but they are far outweighed by the sociopathic, authoritarian cunts that make up the rank and file. The pig that killed Mr Thomlinson was the only one suspected of causing a fatality so he'll be hung out as a sacraficial lamb. Once he's behind bars, the press will turn their attention elsewhere, and they'll go back to kicking the shit out of us.

There's an inquest into whether that pig cunt killed Ian (fairly fucking obvious, but official channles and all that. I'd have just had him summarily executed.) It should be done soon and piggy goes to jail to get spitroasted. Just to give you a further insight....
