I'll say Pasta, though there are also some good rice dishes.

In the washing machine of course, if it made no difference to the fabric. If they have to be hand washed because they're delicate, well, I'd rather not have too many of those. I generally prefer not to have to expend more effort than necessary.

Would you rather make an elaborate meal with lots of steps, but is incredibly delicious, or make an easier meal that may be rather ordinary, but doesn't require a whole lot of effort?
