I've been trying to learn Spanish for quite a few years, but other than a few words, I haven't been too successful at it. Though I think it might like to learn Italian. Something about it sounds "cleaner" than Spanish (that probably refers to some quality of the language that I can't pinpoint, but an expert on languages can identify).

Would you rather go to a Pink Floyd concert or a Captain & Tenille Concert?
 
Italian sounds more " pleasant " because most words end in vowels unlike other languages , even plural nouns end in vowels

Spanish : Días ( Days) Ragazze ( Gals) Chicos ( Guys) SP

Italian : Giorni (Days) Ragazzi ( Fellas) Chicas ( Gals) Sp


Also Infinitive Verbs end in vowels

Volare ( To fly ) Sognare ( To dream )

Volar ( Spanish ) Soñar ( To dream) SP

The Pink Floyd vs. Captain & Tenille was one of those weird questions I came up with, when I had to come up with something, but couldn't really think of anything.

I think you're asking whether I'd rather live on the Peruvian Coast or the Highlands. I'm not sure how I'd answer since I've never been there or experienced their climates. I would think the Coastline would be more amenable to me. I checked it out, and it appears that Lima has one of the most unique climates in the world, being probably the only coastal city in the Equatorial zone that isn't torrid, because of the Humboldt Current which comes off Antarctica, which keeps it cool and dry. Sounds sort of like a tropical San Francisco. I don't think I'd like to live in the Highlands from what you've described, since I hate cold and rainy weather.

Sorry, I don't know. Whilst I've vaguely heard of both bands, I have no idea what they sound like. From a quick Google, Steve Miller Band looks the less disagreeable, so if forced I'll pick them.

Both bands were big in the States, maybe neither one got much traction across the Pond. BTW, you might want to check out Steely Dan's Only a Fool Would Say That, which is widely viewed as a slam against John Lennon during his Imagine days.

Definitely a gig or concert, especially if it's someone we both like. Bars seem antithetical to and destructive of relationships.

I’m not much of a jewelry fan, I‘d rather wear modest silver rings which don’t call much attention to me. I’ve worn wristwatches in the past, but they were generally inexpensive brands.
