I think it would depend on whether your purpose is to find somebody to fuck or to find somebody for a LTR. I have never had a fuck on the first date turn into a partnership. It's usually a one-off, though I've had encounters where we continue to get together for sex an awhile. At least for me, if I want to have a long-term relationship with someone, I have to get to know them before we fool around.
