  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Would you wear this 'bathing suit?'

No.

That fly is fake. I hate that sort of stupidity.

But I've worn similar material many times.

Oh, and, I wouldn't wear that sort of material with those stupid looking pockets, either.

You're assuming we all wear bathing suits?

In public, those are only to be worn over a jock (and the pockets need to go).

Not on your life...I get enough ridicule and shame without exposing my junk to the world for even more!

Sorry, those are not my idea of white privilege. 🤣

If I were in a place private enough to swim in onion skin, I wouldn't be wearing a suit at all. If other people not in a partner relationship are present, it would be lewd to wear anything suggestive.

I was at Trader Joe's Sunday around 4:00. There was some horrific rapper blaring over a PA system at over 130 decibels about a block away. In the two minutes it took go to and from my truck to the market, I must have heard more than a dozen "niggas", "muthafuckas" and "bitches". Obscenities in public are unwelcome. In private, swear away.

Same for lewdness.

For your consideration, gentlemen. Because...why hide those thighs.

I actually like these, not necessarily for me, but just as a normative fashion that cools the body, but doesn't expose ass or cock or even make a ssexually provocative statttement, depending upon where worn, how, and with what. It could easily be seen as purely athletic.

Long shorts have looked homophobic to me since the tennis length shorts were ousted in favor of the board shorts in the 80's and 90's. That seemed to coincide a little too closely with the rise of gay rights and visibiity. Straight men knowingly have dress codes that promote women showing legs in society and the workplace, but in like manner, eschew the sexualization of men on display, so disallow even dress shorts in the workplace and in formal wear. This double standard should end. Either cover women's legs or normalize men's exposure.
