Alas,it is not an urban legend,though it is quite hard to get infected by a needle-stick injury as HIV does die rather quickly once outside the bloodstream.

The main problem with needle-stick`s is that if you are a health-care worker
and suffer one because the blood is so fresh the chances are higher of infection.
Though still quite rare.

sorry but hiv-aids is just a propaganda, if the virus exists, it's not harmful and is just like any other virus

I have lost a lot of very close friends to this non-existant virus,and to read such a post from a guy on a gay-forum is just so mind-boggling. Enough Said .
 
Medic, for some people the risk of HIV is too much to bear. They choose to downplay how dangerous it is. Although this is the first time I have ever heard anyone state that it doesn't exist.

I used to know a lot of gay guys that thought HIV wasn't dangerous anymore... since then, two of them died with AIDS.

well how are ur friends doing? did they decay by now? no they didn't cos the virus isn't harmful, but they'r gonna decay if they keep taking the drugs, just ask them how they feel about the drugs

So... by the time I was 21 I had roughly 15 friends get sick, waste away to nothing and die horrible deaths in a matter of months.

And you're saying that they died of what, exactly?

Even AIDS denialists accept that AIDS exists. What they dispute is that HIV is the true cause of AIDS ie that HIV is a 'passenger virus' and not the instigating virus. Whilst I find Peter Duesberg has some interesting theories, to state as fact, something which is unproven, simply fuels member's ideas that you are a conspiracy nut job. You'd do far better by starting a thread highlighting Duesberg and his work, and having a sensible discussion about this, rather than hijacking and trolling any thread that mentions HIV.

i tried to tell you that the connetion between hiv and aids is silly, it's made up
anyway i lost faith in the medical system long time ago anyway, it was recently that i walked across these conspiracys and to be honest, i believe them more
 
^ Nevertheless, your thoughts and reasoning would be better in it's own thread. Duesberg's work on cancer is sufficiently serious enough for me to have taken the time to read more about his theories on HIV & AIDS - and some of it may be of interest to others who still have the ability to look at things with an open mind.
