obviously if he was on missed connections he had to know it was someone he knew. so just answer him. i mean, the worst he can do is say he's not interested in you like that. plus, why would he use his school e-mail address if he's not out? i really don't think he'll think you're creepy.

Reply. I wouldnt think it was creepy. He says he isnt out to a lot of people so I would think he expects to be contacted in a discreet way instead of you running up to him in a bar or in class and announce it to the world. Go for it. Let us know what happens.

I'm with them reply. If you just randomly go up to him and be like hey guess what i posted that ad and you replied and like OMG lets go fuck! then you're creepy. lol

But if you respond to him genuinely then he will see your addie and then whether or not he responds either through email or rw interaction it's on him. You took your chances. It's not like two gay guys can't be just friends with out all the booty screwin. Things will only get awkward if you let it.

Using info that you obtained anonymously is a sign of being creepy.

While just telling him who you are, and how you found out about him being gay might be a wee bit awkward. It's less creepy. Also if you choose not to respond to his response but hit on him more in the real world without telling him that it was your post you open up the possibility of being rejected in favor of 'you'. Meaning he may be really happy someone took the time to make that post and got him to respond. But he may be a lil weirded out by the fact that he showed up on your supposed gaydar. He may simply turn you down in real life because he is holding out hope for the mysterious online dude.

I told him who I was...he didn't reply.

I have class with him tomorrow and this is going to be really awkward. eh, kind of regretting hitting the send button.
