pretty much shows the upside and downsides of the hollywood business. this guy was a model i guess and he's pretty much struggling to make money and is living from his car. depressing.

I just watched all 7 episodes and I thought I was goin to be like "oh yeah just another actor...." but at about episode 3 I really felt for him. And his ex girlfriend sticking with him. I think it's easier with a friend. Alone would make things so much harder.

what a douchebag. i dont have the volume up and and only skipping though the video but srsly what does this guy have to cry about.

Crying at 5.30 because he can't get into Acting Studio.
While people in Sudan are dying daily.

I have skepticism about this whole thing.

Who is filming him all the time? There are some parts he's filming himself, and other parts he's not, like at the gym.

Speaking of the gym: how can he afford gym membership, but is living in his car? Also, why doesn't he have a job? Hardly anyone can support themselves entirely on their acting career, so if he's not even working as a waiter or barista then he needs to get his sh!t together.

He's been there less than a year, and he got there by random after just up and leaving to "find himself." He pays gym membership and most likely has gotten by more on his looks than on any particularly amazing acting skills.

I dunno, as a hopeful actor myself, with many of my family members being professional Hollywood actors, I have a hard time feeling bad for him. Yes, the lifestyle of a TV and movie actor in LA is pretty hard, but it doesn't need to be nearly as bad as he's making it out to be. No young, healthy, attractive, single person should be living out of a car.

Cute guy. Probably no more or less talented than any number of young, actually successful actors. I think the tears were meant to show his acting skills. Sam Worthington has said that, despite a fair amount of prior work as an actor, he was living out of his car at the time he landed "Avatar".

i see escorting in his future. he is good looking, but not leading man material.
he sorta has an overbite or something going on with his teeth.
he's like a male version of a hollywood starlet-he needs to find a sugar daddy or mama and/or turn tricks and get ready to ride the casting couch:sex:

I lived in L.A. for 8 years and, although I myself did not work in "the biz", I had friends who did (or wanted to), and what he's doing is not uncommon.

As an aspiring actor, if you're lucky enough to know people in L.A., you spend a lot of time couch surfing. If you don't, you're probably living in your car. The whole living out of a storage unit/showering at the gym thing is pretty common. Neither of those fees are very expensive and whatever little money he's making in his day job (which I'm assuming he has to have to eat, etc.) goes right back into headshots, acting lessons, gas to go to auditions, etc.

A lot of people I met were most likely rock stars in their small town--good looking, popular, somewhat talented. After graduation, they decided to move to Hollywood and pursue the American dream. And I totally give them props for having the balls to do so. But then they get to L.A. and realize that they are one of thousands of people who are doing the exact same thing. And with the exception of the 0.00001 percent of actors who make it big, for everybody else it's cattle call casting auditions, rejection, and constantly hustling to make something happen.

Eventually, he will have to decide if the amount of success he has had is worth it to keep trying or whether he'll say he did his best, it was a life experience, and go back to the midwest or wherever and start the next chapter in his life.
