I guess I should do that more often.

How many threads are you subscribed to? Do you ever clear them out? Do you even subscribe to any?

how can u do that?

If you click on 'My Settings' at the top of each forum page, you'll see a list of recent subscriptions. Scroll down to the bottom and you can list all of the subscriptions. You can then delete them from there. (Or arrange them into different folders for convenience.)

i'm subscribed to a few of the threads i've started.

](*,)](*,)

just three threads. they have video clips in them of Stephen Sondheim songs being sung and i enjoy going back to them and watching and listening to them.

eM.:(

1,880 threads.

I've never really gone back through to clean out the cobwebs. I'm surprised it's that many threads, actually. I guess that ONE posting in a thread is my most common practice.

Hmmm...I thought I disabled that...I'll have to go take a peek then.

addendum:

Nope, no subscribed threads. Whew.

Even if you don't subscribe to threads, I see in my profile that every thread I post in, is logged and kept.

I only keep those that are less than 30 days old. This must reduce the space taken on JUB's server. then again maybe they are logged on my own P/C. A more knowledgeable person than I would know.

yes, there is a record of where you've posted and what.

I sometimes read through a JUBBERS posts to get a feel for the person. Over time, they can give you insight into their "persona" and thought processes.

Is that not what Gsdx is talking about? I came across seven pages one time and saw they were all the posts I had made. Since I have started deleting the pages older than 30 days. Or is he talking about something completely different??

Too early in morning for my brain to function at 100% ( not that it does, often. lol)

That's probably what I was talking about. When I got there yesterday, I discovered 17 pages of subscriptions, though.

You got off lightly! ;)

Thanks. One of these days I promise, I will read through the JUB HOW TO book. I have no idea on what is what after all the changes.

Of course, I graduated Ignoramus cum laude in computers.

Never touched one before 2004 when I retired. (Freedom 55 and all that)
