Despite the name, you don't have to be a "bear" to hang out and there is a good mix agewise. The biggest gay guilds are supposed to be on Proudmoore and Garona but the queues were terrible whenever I tried to get on there. Maybe that's improved since they did invest a lot in server quality before the expansion went live. They have mentioned guilds on PvP servers too if that is your thing.

I have 3 60s (and 4 other midlevel) Horde on Baelgun. The warrior has Crusader and 300+ enchanting and the rogue has 300+ alchemy. I put some enchants on level 5 whites that I lend to friends to twink them when they want to try that server...then they send them back to my bank when they outgrow them since whites don't soulbind.

I did get two Alliance as far as the 40s on Durotan (sp?) a while ago but that was just because my previous manager played Alliance...since I don't work for him anymore those have been gathering dust :)

Baelgun, is that a PvE/PvP/RP server? How's the economy over there?

WoW is kind of gettin me mad at the moment. Mostly the PvPs, and a hunter laying a trap and standing on it, or sending his pet in once I'm stealth a mile away. I might reroll paladin.

I play wow religiously too. 70 priest pally hunter rogue here ><. Ran a raid guild for a while but started on horde to help some friends do heroics. And to the post about GLBT guilds.. its against ToS to make one. Buddy of mine tried and they had to disband. So i guess you could have one.. just not advertise. I know i know it sucks.. but they said it was discrimination. =D For the Horde!!!

Not true. There is a pretty big one on Elune (of i think that what it called). And they are doing damn well for them selves if i may as myself. Me and a friend joined just out of a curiously.

Yeah. thats why I rolled PvE...you can still go into PvP in battlegrounds if you feel like it and you can just go for it if you want to try to solo a tough mob at the edge of your ability without wondering if someone is stealthed waiting for the worst moment. I do have a lot of respect for people who level on PvP, I just think it's too much hassle for a game I play to relax lol.
Some Horde players don't even set foot in contested territory until level 45+. They just run those midlevel instances safely inside horde territory over and over apparently.
After reading the forums, my paladin respecced to protection at 35ish and it's amazing! At 40 I was able to solo 4 of the 44ish earth elementals in the chain to get the stopwatch trinket. I thought they were exaggerating about what that build does for you, but they weren't. The downside is it only works well for melee mobs in groups that dont have a lot of stuns or debuffs. I put crusader on a purple 2hander for use on the single mobs. I think it would make you more vulnerable on PvP servers, but Baelgun isn't.

PvE. It was a transfer server created for the overload from Blackhand (a high pop server, one of the originals in 2004 I believe and one with real hardware issues at times) Anvilmar and others, so the prices are relatively high and you can get pretty much any gear or enchant/crafting you want if you have the gold. I bought crusader when the expansion went live and the price dropped. I shouldve waited a few more days for it to go even lower, but it was a nice savings.
By the time you qualify, it really will not be that hard to buy the outland flying mount. My druid won't need one so the gold is going towards one for the others, probably the rogue since he can farm what the druid doesn't.
My druid was in West Plaguelands today leveling toward 62 and there were still people farming the spellbinders for the drop at that tower. It's still nice for leveling; you can solo some mobs in Strat now that drop the orbs.
I wonder if the expense of the expansion pack has kept the gold farmers out of the Outland. I haven't noticed any bots.

That really sucks. I hope at a minimum they refunded the cost of the guild creation, since that isn't exactly a few coppers.

The policy about advertising a gay friendly guild might be because the players are a mix of adults and minors and Blizzard doesn't understand the different between a social group and some kind of attempt to sexually "recruit". There was a debate on the realm forum for Garona for the longest time about the Spectrum guilds (maybe still raging?)...the detractors were throwing around Bible verses and all but accusing the guild of being a bunch of dirty old men trying to seduce teenagers "into the lifestyle". /eyeroll
 
Wow for some reason is never occured to me that yall may play wow.....how strange. Im not even gonna say how long iv been on wow, though im presently taking a month long break(for frear of loosing my soul). Im working on a level 32 night elf hunter/ engineer(because bombs are cool). Is any one else on dalaran server?? I cant quite find the gay guild, cause i wants to join.
 
I say everyone transfers to Alterac Mountains, especially if you're horde.

I have been totally addicted to this song in the past. Pretty much before the expansion came out. I still enjoy it but it's a whole different game now! I still play every few days though, sometimes more or less.
