There's nothing quite as sexy as all the tuberculosis bacilli from your phlegm sliding down deep inside me," then we should not "protect that person's choice." We should confine them for treatment in the mental health ward on the other side of the hospital.

We don't need the debate about stigmatizing HIV when it has nothing to do with that. The bible has nothing to do with that. Fucked up behaviour is fucked up, and being okay with getting HIV, or giving it to someone, is fucked up.

Actually a clever observation,there have been patients who have chosen slow-suicide by AIDS,just like this suicide by cop crap.
Mainly the ones i have seen have been suffering from some sort of Survivor-Guilt concerning HIV.

^I would say that 90% of people with destructive behaviours have something else in their background (depression, nervous breakdown, abusive life, etc). Rarely is there a happily living person who sees everything as an everlasting sunny day and does this kind of stuff.

1. You cannot trust anything people say online (and offline, actually). Many people lie about their jobs and educational background.
2. Some medical students (and residents) who I know engage in some disorders like non-addictive drug abuse (painkillers, acetaminophen), bulimia, and binge drinking. One in my batch regularly threatens to kill those offending him, and the other seems to be going Marx's path. Being a medical student does not mean you are 100% not cocky-doodle.
