They're a little more technically adept than the ham-fists who used to remove all the "un-persons" from photos in the Soviet Union, but the idea is the same. Certainly the intent is the same, the delusional belief that you can deny the person's reality.

I remembered the old before-and-after shots from the Soviets when the Texas School Board tried to remove Jefferson from Texas classrooms. Right-wingers and commies, one and the same.

There's a passage in one of the prophets that can be taken to mean that if women gain power in a nation, it's doomed.

Maybe they don't want their readers to know we're doomed. :p



Here's the tax break to stop: exclude donations to religious causes from tax deductions, unless it's something with a secular purpose (homeless shelter, soup kitchen, whatever).

If pictures of fully clothed, and appropriate business attire on woman in newspapers are erased... how the hell do Hassidic men ever get out of the house? There has to be lots of women who wear less than that in, for instance, NYC.

Is Hassidic a proper alternative term to call the Ultra Orthodox Jewish Community?
