It always amazes me how straight people don’t ever mention how outrageous and homo erotic wrestling is because it’s a sport, but if those same straight people saw two guys behaving the same way without it being an official sport they would freak out (especially if it was their son)
. It would also be interesting to see how many wrestlers are gay if they were given a written questionnaire where they didn’t have to put their names.

I is amazing. In college one year I had a roommate who was on the wrestling team. Not very bright - engaged to his high school sweetheart - very "old school" in his thinking. We had nothing in common and nothing to talk about, but DAMN did I like watching him get dressed after his morning shower!

If he knew what I was thinking watching him I am sure he would have moved out - so I just stayed quiet and enjoyed the view.

I am bi and have 3 sons, one of which wrestled from 5th grade, as a club sport, then on junior and senior high school teams. He was good enough for varsity. When the wrestling coach at his college approached him to try and get him to wrestle there, he refused. He told him and us that he was tired of all skipping meals, sweating in saunas and smelly guys who refuse to shower the day of a match to be stinky by the time of the match to gross out the other guys. He said he didn't see much gay stuff, but at the time, weigh ins were nude and there were a few guys who were very into it. Today, guys weigh in their underwater or jocks. About fifteen years after college he did start being a ref but decided after about five years that the parents starting getting to out of control and resigned. Most of the wrestlers that would hangout at our house seemed straight and all got married to women. But we know, that can be a farce.

I suspect that the number of gay and bi guys is very high in all the "spandex sports" (wrestling, swimming, diving and gymnastics).
