(or dude). although I just cut one ex off....the conversations always dissolved into us talking about sex and how he has a boyfriend (whom he actually met on A4A when I wasn't giving him any - I was sick for two weeks and didn't feel like screwing) And how I can't call or text at certain times and yadda yadda....And how this boyfriend is going to cut me at pride (which is next weekend)...blah blah....(that made me even more vindictive).

See, there are two kids of friends-with-exes. You assumingly represent the first.

1. Genuine friendship. This is the ex that maybe drove your mother to chemotherapy everyday, helped you out financially during a rough patch, you two have a foundation of friendship and can be around each other without sexual or romantic feelings bubbling up, he understands and respects that the friendship is just that.

2. Backup fucks, unresolved feelings, keeping the ex as a sideline option in case you get bored with or breakup with the current. This is the ex that comes by at 11pm when youre lounging in your boxers (oddly enough he only does this when the current isnt home) he shows up with a bottle of wine ready to reminisce and lay his head on your lap while you watch a movie.

#1 is cool but mama Walker aint raise no fool, many situations are #2.

I try to do that....but in some very specific cases....the lines between things blur. They blur quite a bit.

#2 is cool too as long as its not going on while youre in a new relationship, leading the new bf to believe hes the one and only... Until he goes to work and that fuck budd comes over.

Sidenote i was gonna abbreviate fuck buddy to fb and it tickled me that fuck buddy abbreviated is boyfriend abbreviated backwards.
