Started to see them in Costco yesterday.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Okay - going to the beach now.

That is tacky! It makes you wonder what happened to all the other holidays. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas, especially the Yuletide atmosphere during Nov and Dec but please, not now.

I've heard that some stores started setting Christmas out just last month. I love Christmas as much as the next person, but it's way to early! Where is Halloween and Thanksgiving? Shouldn't those come before hand? XD

There's a dollar store here in Peterborough which has had its holiday decorations up for the past 5 years. (I say 'holiday decorations' because you can buy any decoration for any holiday in there all year round.)

For those who are really into it

it must take at least four months to purchase all the deco

unless they're wealthy and can buy it all at once

I ordered a fresh wreath for our front door last month.QVC had a 24 hour Christmas in July marathon.....:xmas:

Ooo !

I'm on 'auto delivery' for those !

I get two fresh ones every year. One for the front door and one for a centerpiece for the table with a pillar candle and hurricane glass in the center.

GOD. I'm SO gay...

What kind of stuff do you people buy? I haven't had any decorations since I lived with my parents. Even then we only had a tree and it was a small one because the dogs and birds would knock over the big ones. I don't understand all the flashy lights on peoples houses and the fake snow on peoples windows.

What happened to Halloween and Thanksgiving? Are they now Christmas Parts One and Two? Maybe the stores just can't wait for Christmas to come, so why not get the kids psyched about it by selling decorations.

I mean, Christmas is cool and all, but the kids are just gearing up for school now. This is messed up. ](*,) ](*,)

hey - it's SAMs CLUB -- so it's WALMART ! SO --- NUFF SAID..Except:

BAH HUMBUG !! and oh yeah, BINGLE JELLS !!

You know, if we threw all the Christians into a big, deep pit where they belonged and then filled it in with cement... we could enjoy the second half of the year without having to hear all their "war on Christmas" bullshit, thier "he's the reason for the season" tripe, their country stars singing Christmas songs, their annoying Santas ringing bells into pots of money...

I'm just saying.

I work in retail, and they have begun sending us Christmas toys and other junk. Ick. I can no longer stand the Christmas Holiday Season, and I really don't want it to start *sooner*!

I'm with you there. =]

I'd go up to the manager of that Sam's and say "No, no, no. You got it all wrong! It goes Halloween, Thanksgiving, THEN Christmas."

My Tar-zhay must be a rogue one, b/c we've just set-up our Back to School display a few weeks ago. In fact out of all the stores I've been to where I live, I haven't seen any of them with Christmas decorations up for sale.

Like jeez people, wait until October. That's more than enough time for you greedy bastards to pimp your yuletide goods to the public. #-o

Tarjay will most likely keep Back 2 School for 90% off for the next few months to make way for the Christmas section that'll take over the same area. :)

My store set up all three at the same time. Of course, I work at a fabric store so we have assembly time as an excuse. I bought the fabric for my Halloween costume two weeks ago and it's even money whether I'll have it sewn in time. !oops!
