As it now stands though, the findings of the committee pretty much exonerate Kavanaugh of everything, even minimizing his partying and drinking. Did the Dems on the committee sign off on the final result?
Kavanaugh was an awful choice...his misrepresentations and lies regarding his conduct during the Bush administration should have caused more waves and disqualified him, but they didn't. What we now have is a narrative by ultraconservative Republicans for a wronged man attempted to be slandered and brought down by liberal witch hunt, when this man is flawed as hell in reality. Maybe the Democrats should have pushed the narrative of his untruthfulness and partisanship... now what we have is likely a conservative court for years to come indifferent at best and openly hostile at worst to issues that affect many millions without the power and influence of right wing corporate and religious backers.
