Who do you think is X-men's top 3 most powerful women?

Storm
Phoenix
Emma frost
Rogue- when she still have Ms. Marvel's powers
Psylocke
Magma
Marvel Girl- Racheal Summers
Polaris

I have wonder for long time which of them are X-men's most powerful women. before Jean become Phoenix, my friend told me that everytime X-men face a villian, they always try to take Storm out first.

For me, my top three will be Storm, Phoenix and Emma Frost.

Give me ur option on who you think!!

I forget about X-23, lol, sorry, their is like only few x-men women that is capable of take down villian without help of men, lol. Any other X-men women that i forget, just add them to the list

My Top 3:

#1 - Phoenix - hands down. Come on, one of the most powerful cosmic entities in all existence...you can't beat that!

#2 Storm - definately the 2nd most powerful. She's actually an Omega Level mutant, like Jean. The bitch can control the elements of nature, including earth's magnetic field and even solar winds...don't mess with her! And it's true...the X-Men's opponents always try to take out Storm first...and for a good reason.

#3 Emma Frost - she's a badass powerful telepath!

I agree with 1 and 2 definitely.

Phoenix, especially when merged with Jean Grey, is written to be the most powerful force ever to exist. I do not know about you Fucker, but I saw X-3 and I thought the ending was absolute crap. There's no better way of wording it. Then again, I had several other issues with it as well as the previous X-Men films.

Storm is a bad bitch as well. I never read too many comic books with her using her powers at omega level, but she was rather weak in the cartoon.

I'm not exactly an Xpert, but Polaris is a rather powerful female as well. She is basically a female Magneto, in her original mutation anyway.

So, two people think X-23 is a powerful mutant? Isn't she basically a female version of Wolverine or were there other abilities that she possessed?

Mystique? You put Mystique in the same category as Storm and Phoenix? May I ask why?
She's manipulated her way into the good graces of some of the most powerful people in the Marvel Universe. Plus her shapeshifting abilities and healing powers make her almost unfindable and unkillable.

Understandable. However, I would not exactly put her in the same category as women who are basically gods.

Phoenix, when she merged with Rachel Summers, brought Galactus to his knees easily...mind you, she had access only to an incredibly tiny portion of the Phoenix Force's power. Imagine if it was Jean Grey, who's able to have access to the full power of the Phoenix Force...
And yeah, I was truly disappointed at how they portrayed the Phoenix in X3. I was expecting something bigger, more apocalyptical...but nooooo...we got Phoenix stopping needles, destroying an plane, make some water rise and destroy 2 or 3 buildings...wow! How...um...pathetic coming from the most powerful force in the universe. Ugh! #-o

I agree about Storm. They really toned her down in the cartoons. In the comics she is NOT to be messed with. I read she's hasn't even reached her full potential yet...there's a comic number where they foresee the future or something and Storm's power grew so much she actually becomes an Elemental. She's a bad B. Love her! She has so many diverse abilities...she can even create force fields by using air pressure to do so (I have the comic number where she does it...awesome!).

I was torn between Polaris and Emma Frost. Polaris is rather powerful indeed but so is Emma. I guess what made me go for Emma was the fact she's a fucking powerful telepath...she could destroy Polaris's mind easily.

Lol! True. Storm, for once, could simply freeze her like she did with Omega Red (and he's much more powerful than Mystique, obviously)...let's see her recover from that! :p

The Phoenix would...well...she could simply wipe her out of existence, literally...and with a single thought.

So, yeah, not in the same league at all.

I must say it's great to discuss X-Men with someone, but I digress. As far as Phoenix, I read that she was considered the most powerful Phoenix host out of all of the Phoenix hosts to exist. She's a bad chick. As far as X-3, did you see the ending? Let me ask you again, did you see the ending? Ugh.

Concerning Storm, I've noticed the same idea happening with other mutants when the begin to reach their full potentials (i.e. Iceman, Beast, Black Tom, etc.). They practically transform into their codenames, so I would not be surprised in that future prediction becomes actualized in the regular comic timeline.

Yeah, Emma is rather powerful as well. I guess in a one-on-one battle, Emma would destroy Polaris, if Polaris is not wearing her helmet. Otherwise, Emma would not stand a chance.

Yes, Jean IS the most powerful host of all. She's the only one who's able to tap into the Phoenix Force's energy in it's entirety...the other hosts could only access a small fragment of it's power. In her full potential as Phoenix Jean becomes the White Phoenix of the Crown (or something like that). She could wipe out all that exists, not only in this universe, but in every alternate universe.

You mean, the ending as in the ending AFTER the ending credits? Yes, I saw it.

I've read that Storm, Magneto and Iceman, along with 2 or 3 more other mutants, are the only ones who'll reach an Omega Level (meaning, they'll basically become the power they now only manipulate).

Not sure. Remember Emma can also turn into diamond. ;)

Yeah, I read that about Jean becoming the White Phoenix. So, it's definitely settled as to whose the most powerful female and mutant as well.

No, the ending before the credits where Jean is going nuts and then someone does something so simply and she dies??? I'm trying not to give it away, just in case someone else has not seen it.

I had no clue about Magneto, but I'm surprised he did not mutate earlier. I guess he never reached his full potential before then either.

Yeah, Emma can turn into diamond, but I would not imagine that Polaris would engage her in hand-to-hand combat; that is the only way her Diamond Form would help her against Polly. Emma is not indestructable, but she is close, so I would imagine that Polaris could manipulate electro-magnetic fields around Emma or even ions inside of Emma to destroy Emma.

But remember even diamond have it flaw, mean that even emma frost can shatter. i agree with they way they tone down storm in both movies and cartoon. i grew up watching x-men cartoon, do anyone remeber everytime she use her power, she talk like a witch? lol, like for example: cold wind from the north, come an freeze my emeny, something like that. if she ever reach her true form, she will be elematial that have hair made of lighting and breathe ice and fire.

You're talking about Wolverine taking her out in the end. Yeah, it was a pretty simple ending and a let down but...meh...so was the movie in general so I wasn't all that shocked.

i kept thinking how the hell can wolverine kill jean grey when she can simple "reborn" anytime!! it is so strange that they tone down the powers of the x-women but not the men.

Its obvious who my first choice is, but I think that the Scarlett Witch is a contender as well, especially after the line "Daddy, no more mutants" or something like that.

Yeah but Scarlet Witch is not memeber of x-men but she is one of the most powerful women of marvel. one thing that just make me wondering is that if she change the realility then why not she undo what she have done?
