Xbox 360 > PS3

Lol. As far as online gaming goes, PC beats them both. PC online gaming is both free and faster (and customizable.)

The PS3 is great. I love that I can use it to watch Blu-Ray movies. I love that I can access it using my PSP. And I had no problem at all swapping the stock HDD in my PS3 for a much larger one (still Seagate, but more capacity).

But hey, if the 360 makes your dick hard, then fuck with that instead.

IMHO, PS3 needs better exclusives. The only PS3 exclusive I truly enjoyed was Metal Gear Solid 4 and that's because I'm Metal Gear Solid whore.

Killzone? Hated it. Uncharted 1? Hated it. Uncharted 2? Lost interest in it. Demon Souls? EWWWWWW!!!!!!! Resistance 1 and 2? Hated both.

Until that happens, the 360 will always triumph.

Sheesh, there's just no pleasing some people. BTW, Uncharted 2 mops the floors with MGS4.

PS3 is getting all the better exclusives, it looks nicer, it's free online and I have never had a problem playing online... a few lag moments but no more so than my brother has on the 360 - less actually.

Trophies are better than achievements since you're leveling up.

Oh and you don't have many immature idiots calling you noob and gay boy down the mic. (I say many because I have never encountered anybody saying it... I'm sure others may have)

I've got them both and they are both nice and have different strengths and weaknesses. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned these, but netflix downloads and comms between the 360 and one's pc.

Can you even get direct download of netflix on with Sony? How about logging into facebook or twitter (if you use those sites)?

What do you mean by direct download?

PS3 has an internet browser, so you can access facebook and twitter, they just don't have specific interfaces like they do on 360. But if I want to access those sites, I could just do it from my computer. I probably would never do itfrom my console.

And so many games are coming out for PS3 soon: White Knight Chronicles, Heavy Rain, Yakuza 3, God of War 3, Mod Nation Racers...I need more money!

By direct download, I mean direct download, you know, downloaded directly to the console and played on your TV. Not to mention you can buy games and add-ons directly from your 360 console and save them on the hard drive. And as far as hard drives go, Microsoft has the 20/60/120 gig drives available. I've heard rumors of 230gig generics floating around but don't really need it so I haven't checked it out. Not to mention there are accessories that allow you to save directly to your PC hard drive, I haven't heard of such an option for PS.

God another xbox360 vs PS3 thread, I thought this was done on gamefaqs...anyway I have both consoles including a wii, so I may be biased but both have they're strength and weaknesses, but I gotta say I have a special place in my heart for my ps3 lol

Compared to Gamefaqs this is rather tame.

But for me...PS3

I have 360 and PS3 so both have their strengths and weaknesses.

Wii would like to play! I loved those commercials when they first came out.

The only thing that is better is when it comes to graphics. Ps3 has much better hardware when it comes to that and have pretty awesome looking games such as Uncharted 2. But looks aren't everything so that's hardly relevant when it comes to 'better'.

That's not true. The 360 has a better GPU and the PS3 has a better CPU. The differences boil down to design for the most part but they are both using essentially five year old GPUs at this point and it is really starting to show.

Anyway coming back to these consoles from my PC makes discussion of one being more powerful than the other really absurd as they are both looking equally dated relative to PC games with a current system, but as you said the looks aren't important if the game is fun.

The discussion isn't just about whether one is more powerful than the other. It's about which is better.

There are over 1000 movies on PS store at the moment which can be bought and downloaded, a hard drive I have heard is extremely easy to upgrade, you can easily transfer files from PS3 to external hard drives.

Also there's an internet browser which I am using right now and in account settings you can get alerts sent facebook too.

But with netflix you don't have to buy the movie. And on the 360 you don't just get alerts from facebook, you can actually log in to your account and get all functions, same with twitter. And there's more on the way.

PS3 does all that also. PS3 now has Netflix. And the PS3 could always connect to your PC.

PS3 is way more internet friendly. Microsoft hates the internet, because they suck at browsers and search engines, and they can't get by with charging for every dowloaded byte. Which is why they created Xbox Live Gold, where they control what you have access to online and also charge you for it. And the internet is synonymous with choices, and MS hates it when people have choices.

The 360 is crackable while the PS3 isn't.

The PS3 has Rockstar's mysterious IP, AGENT(in development, I hope), as an exclusive.

Off topic - Mass Effect 2 leaked YAH!!
