Yes. There is a plug-in for Firefox that allows you to download youtube and xtube files and then watch them in .flv (I think that is the extension). You can download the player, too. I use a Mac and it works beautifully. Google "download youtube video" and see what turns up. All my info is on another computer, so if you do not find what you need, ask again.

You need VLC player to watch vids from Downloadhelper. VLC is the best player out there - it's got flaws, but it can play virtually any type of vid.

I use a plug in for firefox called video downloader it is the only one that has worked for me, just add the plug in then it will be in the bottom right hand of your browser then click it when you have the video you want and click download and it is as easy as that.
