YAY!!! I can POST AGAIN!!!

On Wednesday...

I had a "kind of" bad mishap while trying to help someone unload my trailer...

The shipper had STACKED it wrong -- and I had a 750lb steel crate SMASH into the side of my head...

I IMMEDIATELY fell to the floor and ALMOST passed out...

FORTUNATELY, the guy I was helping was a retired FIREMAN!!! He WOULDN'T let me succumb to the darkness and stayed with me for 45 minutes until my lack of balance and dizziness had somewhat subsided...

UNFORTUNATELY -- I was 2 hours away from the nearest hospital (out in the middle of NOWHERE in Montana)...

Oh well -- turned out to be a minor concussion...

The last couple of days -- I've responded to MANY threads -- ONLY to delete them, because I couldn't create sentences and phrases that represented what I was TRYING to SAY!!!

But after PLENTY OF REST...

I feel like my OLD SELF AGAIN!!!

YAY!!!

BUT -- without BORING y'all with DETAIL -- we DID provide a place for it to FALL onto...

Problem WAS -- it FELL BEFORE we pulled it down...

THEREBY smashing into the left side of my head -- my RIGHT EAR hit my RIGHT SHOULDER before it landed onto the PRE-PLACED platform...

THEN my knees buckled out from under me...

THEREFORE -- I didn't offer MUCH RESISTANCE!!!

FORTUNATELY it didn't break my neck!!!

It amazes me that well-wishers assume that you are neglectful of your well being, and tell you to be more careful. I am sure that is their way of saying "we don't want anything bad to happen to you." We don't!

As Gilbert and Sullivan might have said, "A trucker's lot is not a happy one." Or, at least, not an easy one.

Sheesh! As if you had a choice, pitted against that much steel. Your resilience is great. You'll get by with a little help from friends like the guy who stayed with you and kept you awake, which may have kept you alive.
