Synthetic toad venom? Really?
Yes, 5-MeO-DMT. It's quite popular.
5-MeO-DMT is a toxin (among others) in the secretions of notably the Sonoran Desert Toad.
The secretions are called "Bufo" and contain several other psycho-active toxines, while the synthetic version contains 5-MeO-DMT only, and is hence called "5-MeO-DMT.
A synthetic version was available legally from the internet. Which of course is more ethical towards the toads and somewhat less risky as it excludes some of the more lethal other toxins found in toad slime.
Duncan Trussell relates his own awesome, but very risky experience here:
One supposedly experiences a realm filled with only white light (which is supposedly euphoric) for a few minutes after which things turn to normal, but with a residual mood lift and a feeling of gratitude that lasts several days.
I thought it was interesting to try it, but it's too risky, especially if you don't know what you are getting yourself into.
Also, I wouldn't recommend breaking the law applicable to your situation.
You're completely 'gone' for a few minutes, which -of course- is risky.
I've tried it as a sex drug, but it is inconvenient for normal sex.
