Yellowstone Park's SuperVolcano is bigger than previously estimated

Tell that to the wildebeest and gazelle. The crocs and the big cats are doing quite well, thank you.

There is no virtue in nature. The standards of conduct and measures by which you condemn mankind would quickly damn the animal kingdom. You have no onus to maintain species loyalty, but there is a mandate to make fair assessment.

All this talk of deserved human extinction says much more about social frustrations than it does poor human stewardship of the planet.

Almost like saying, 'I am sad for people and I wish to not be around anymore, BUT I want to take all of you with me'. Ergo, all mass murderers are really just animal lovers. Loll

Not true.

There is no animal (other than man) which has knowingly damaged the planet in pursuit of its own interests. It may well be true that man is the only creature capable of knowingly damaging the planet, which leaves all other species conveniently off the hook for responsibility for their actions in this regard. But it is still true that the only species capable of modifying its behavior for the benefit of the whole Earth chooses not to do so.

No, it is poor human stewardship. None of the other species may be capable of stewarding, but the one which does has failed at it pretty miserably.

Takes intelligent life to appreciate a place like earth.

There are lots of examples of non-human intelligent life on Earth, appreciating the planet for what it is to them.

I doubt that most mass murderers do so as an attempt to improve the quality of life on planet earth.
