The generals in charge are moving: Egypt's constitution is suspended and parliament dissolved. The first was necessary to keep form; the constitution granted no authority to dissolve the chief legislative body.
The army made some of the protesters unhappy by working to clear Tahrir square. Many protesters just continued their clean-up efforts, others stood fast.
But they remained hopeful, trusting the military's promise. Yet... does no one see the loophole in the army's promise? Or am I just imagining it?
