This train wreck is getting more painful to watch. Today, a Senior McCain Advisor referred to Sarah Palin as a "Whack Job" as tensions grow, while the Election comes down to an end.

All parties in this equation have egg on their faces.

The McCain Camp is clearly showing signs with these admissions that they didn't vet her properly, at all ... which is a bigger strike against them, as opposed to Palin.

Reckless decision-making.

One of John McCain's advisers recently called his running mate Sarah Palin a "diva" after she went off-script at a rally, and suggested she was looking after her own political future over the current campaign. Now another adviser ups the ante in a conversation with the Politico's Playbook, labeling Palin a "whack job.

People ridicule Obama's choice in Joe Biden, but at least it was more of a safe-choice and demonstrated wisdom, as opposed to making a "cold, political calculation".

I read something else that said she was getting tired of being a scripted puppet, and has been starting to do her own thing.

Re: Yesterday Palin was a "Diva". Today, "Whack J

So Diva < Maverick?

I wonder how the McCain camp would define the difference?

Re: Yesterday Palin was a "Diva". Today, "Whack J

Diva sounds nice. Diva is all about Diva.

The bimbo came back to bite McCain.

What's even scarier than her divaness is that people actually like her and that she actually has a future in politics.

I just find it amusing that a McCain aide went as far as to call her a "whack job" now.

Why would anyone think that?

And Republicans think she is the Party's Future?

I expected this backbiting to come post election but it's fascinating to see it happen now when everything else is falling apart. The McCain camp is breathtakingly undisciplined. I'd be lying if said it wasn't entertaining though.

"make a way my god, bring finances her way even ... "

what the hell is that mean ?

Good for her. Was growing tired of her being a scripted McCain robot. Fortunately, anything on the Huffington Post can be taken with a grain of salt.

^Does this mean you are no longer a McCain shill, I mean fan?

Yep, the Palins (or Plains) are slightly more polished than Dog and Beth.

Wow, I just read about her fruit fly earmark comment. She really IS an idiot. As if I didn't have enough proof already.

"Fruit fly earmark"? !

Those people just can't see past their faces.

"OH... lower my taxes... I know how to spend my money more than the Government does.."

Really? Then you take your own money and fix those pot holes that you whine about all spring long, build that bridge across the river to allow economic growth to the region so you can make more money... how about you pay those police in your town yourself?

There are a good number of folks around here on back roads who would be happy to patch the pot holes themselves -- except that it would land them in jail for "tampering with public property" or another of a set of catch-all accusations.
And just try getting permission to do it! Some farmers here wanted to repair a county bridge -- but they were denied because the law requires it to be done by union workers hired by a contractor certified by the department of transportation, etc. . . .

Some folks fix the pot holes anyway, just keeping their eyes peeled for the cops. The holes don't get fixed quite as well that way, but at least they get fixed.

I know; this is a rural area and that sort of thing might not work as well in an urban one -- but it might, after all, too.

I know we're supposed to expect politics to be a dirty game but does anyone else still think this is just unprofessional to say those kind of things about her? First she's a diva, then a whack job, what next? Doody boogerhead? Bad breath fartmuncher?

I bet it's gettin' pretty awkward at the repub headquarters.

There are rumors that it was an Adviser in the McCain camp that worked for the Romney Campaign, that made those remarks. If that's the case, they are going Rogue for Romney's chances in 2012, in case Palin also decides to run.

If they do nominate Palin, which the crowds she draws are impressive, then I can not wait to see her in the General Election. Unless Obama totally screws this country up, which I doubt very seriously, I think the Far Right will be solidly put in it's place, and the Law will be laid down to them, that people are fed up with their antics, and what they have to offer.
