  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

you eat the meat you have killed ...

Good grief. Had it been just 150 years ago, people would have been killing their own animals for food not hawking their sorry assess into supermarkets to buy lumps of protein.

Yes, I've killed and eaten animals in the past. There's no glory in it, it was as things were.

With certain meats I would not kill them for food myself, mostly large things like beef/pork/lamb etc, I'd prefer it to be done correctly at slaughter houses and get it from a reputable butcher.

I also don't have a fishing trawler so I can't get my own tiger prawns.

But I do catch and eat the majority of my own seafood (crabs, abalone, fish, lobster etc).

I have thought for years that hunting and gathering should be a class in high school.

Yeah, I think it's really good to recognize that something actually had to die so you could eat your tasty steak... people who don't realize that are so stupid.

I really should get around to becoming a vegetarian. Hopefully it'll be easier when I'm more financially stable and independent, and I don't have to worry about getting three meals a day.

Okay okay okay

Now

Is he actually going out and hunting these animals? Or, does he show up to a place, walk into a room, slit the llama's throat, and have it butchered?

Because he is rich, he just kill the one he choose and let other people do the rest.
I suppose its a farm animal.

I think the money is getting to him... it invariably does.
I agree.

My guess is he didn't have many friends before, and now with all that money, he's realising the friends he does have aren't really his friends.

Eating a burger right now.

Sorry I didn't slaughter it myself. Maybe next time i'll ask the herder if I can take one out behind the shed.

I'm a vegetarian ... but I'm perfectly happy to brutally slaughter my own lettuce. ..|

If he is happy with no friends, why do we care. :)

On the forum somewhere about friends,
if a person got one or two real friends, he would be a lucky guy.

I find Zuckerberg's fancy much more cliched than eccentric.

Oh, gosh, I don't care one way or the other.

I was just stating my observation.

Good question.

It's really creepy if he just wants to do the killing.
