Substitute 'pretty' with 'serviceable' than yes. Cruise bars and sex cinemas exist for this reason and unless you are very picky/unlucky you will be successful there.

Hi 72 Jay..........I live in Phoenix Arizona. My biggest problem is I've been a Lonely self rejected GEEK for so so long, I'm not sure I would know how to dress or behave in a

O.K. I'm going to blunt, this is emotional blackmail. Some of us don't respond well to emotional blackmail. I'm not going to coddle you and tell you that you're wanted and needed because fact is, if you are that damaged, the only one who can help you is a licensed professional - certainly none of us can do anything about that.

What are you doing to change yourself, to make yourself feel better about yourself, because if even a little bit of this is seeping in to your interactions with guys, it's no wonder you're having problems. If I got a whiff of this kind of attitude from you, I'd run the other way - because no one out there wants to be your psychiatrist - except the psychiatrist who's job that is.

This is how you change - you take stock of what you don't like, then you make a plan, then you do your level best to act on it. Plenty of people like to complain, but are unwilling to put in the effort to do anything about it. If you want help making a plan concerning what you want to work on, we can certainty help you with that, but there is nothing we can do without you stopping this kind of behavior and asking us something specific.

Attraction is a two way street, you have to be attractive to the kind of guy you want, and that doesn't mean pretty, it means first and foremost, not being a complete mess emotionally. You won't get anywhere until you work that out.

I'm the same as far as what to dress/do/etc in a gay bar or club (and honestly I'd be pretty uncomfortable simply going to one)
And I couldn't dance even if my life depended on it :lol: both a matter of "I don't know how" & "I physically can't" (old age, bad knees, etc)
So wouldn't be able to offer any advice there.

About the only 'gay' thing I've done is go to pride festivals. Never went with the intent of looking for a boyfriend or anything, just thought I might enjoy it (which I did, and have went back multiple years in a row since the first time). You could always consider something simple like that too?
