making purchases out of season?

My bf and I were out window shopping all day. We ran across this puppy.

Brand new at 50% off the original price. It's last year's model.

Now is the time to buy crap and live the consumerist American dream, people!

The new house we are about to buy has a big deck and a nice fenced, good sized back yard. We're going to hook up with local gay couples and have BBQ's on weekends.

I'm also going to build a fire pit.

The deal about the new house with my bf is I'll do whatever I want with the outside of the house while he can design the inside. He likes interior design while I'm more of an outdoor person. So, he's picking out the colors for our walls and ceilings while I'm drawing up plans for the outside.

The current owner of the house is an elderly couple. You know what old straight couples like? White. It's amazing how white the place is outside and inside. They even painted the fireplace white. Who paints the fireplace white?
 
Yes exactly! When you buy seasonal items just after the season ended, you get a really good deal. I got a set of reclining lawn chairs at JYSK for $10 a few months ago because summer was ending.
Also, who says barbecues are seasonal? On occasion, I barbecue in the middle of winter :-)

I use mine all year as long as it's in a gazebo and protected from snow---lot's of people use them in the winter--not all the time but when they want a grilled steak and don't want to smoke up their home.
 
I use them pretty much any time of year when it is more than -15.
