Well I wont tell you. But I will ask you this. What was that 1.25 thread all about?
 
It's the time of year when I start seeing the baby birds in our garden, getting fed by their parents. This morning, I saw a rare sight - a baby greenfinch. Just a few minutes ago, I saw a baby sparrow. Cute. You can always spot them a mile away, by the way they flutter their wings, and wait to be fed.

I played on an iPad today.

I still don't see the point of it - and the salesman agreed it was really only useful for fun stuff and not as useful as one might think for anything else - but if I had the cash... I just might, you know.

but that was it. i basically saw it as a 1.25 person approval for the idea i thought chickenguy was going for. not that we deserved any individual praise per se, but that at the very least we were all getting involved in positive ways, and in light of all the negative shit lately, thought more people would see how encouraging the thread really was.

bummed me out. and now i'm just even more confused stuff going on here.

I'm SO GLAD that you understood what the whole point of my thread was, because I know that a lot of JUBbers didn't quite understand where I was coming from.

I was just trying to show appreciation and support for some of the JUBbers who've joined recently, and who have, from what I've seen, contributed enormously to these forums.

That's not to say that everyone else hasn't - but I've seen threads before that pay tribute to individual JUBbers, so I thought I'd say something for some of the newbies.

Um... shit happens. I don't think either you or ChickenGuy should be bothered too much by it, if that helps (although I suspect it doesn't).

I suppose in the rest of our defence, a lot of those congratulatory-style threads get largely ignored in general, so perhaps CG's thread just got lumped in with all of those other ones on the "...oh, okay, I suppose" radar of a typical bog-standard Jubber?

As for the tone? Most often it is quite positive as long as posters like Justlove don't drag out all the racism stuff, people avoid politics and the trolls under the bridge are having a nap.

We have a fairy ring of mushrooms about 200 ft in diameter down in the front lawn and wooded area from what we can determine. It is pretty amazing that something can grow like this.

Isn't there also a huge yellow rose in Texas that covers acres of land?
