Here’s the scenario and no it doesn’t apply to me just a situation I thought about.

You’re in an interracial relationship, everything is good. You know you boyfriend, I mean you know him, he’s only into guys of your race, but one day you see him “looking” @ a guy of his own race…

Better yet, he leaves you for someone of his own race…
What would be your reaction?

That is an extremely difficult question to answer since very few people would find themselves in an interracial relationship, and even fewer would be in the situation you describe.

I don't think anyone who has never been in that type of relationship could even offer conjecture.

either way he was looking to fuck around with someone else... and left you for someone else

why would it be wrong if he was looking... and why does race have anything to do with it anyway?

and if he left you then you need to look at issues that made you break up, cus what if it was you that caused the break up not him. There are to many factors for this scenerio.....

looking to see what the guy's about or to admire his hottenss is one thing.

but if he is looking because he wants him and wants a change is a whole different thing.

I know my honey, I know him VERY well. We have been together for 25yrs now. And we both look at guy's just to check out and comment on them sometimes.
we call it people watching.

That does not mean a thing unless to us one is looking for a change.

So I think your question is very open to speculation unless you are clear to what is LOOKING.....

take race out and you have a situation many couples have run into. Is he just looking, which sometimes you can't blame a guy for, or is it possible you have a partner who strays. how you react to that is the question.

I guess it's like married men sleeping with men, then later divorcing and going completely to the gay life. Put yourself in that woman's shoes, you think you know what your partner likes, inside and out, or so you have this notion that you do.

Any SIX FEET UNDER fans in here? Yeah, it's TV but look @ when Keith left David for the black fireman...that type of feeling is what I'm trying to throw out there...would you feel helpless to getting him back if you felt that you were @ a disadvantage now?

you think you know your partner because you assume he is being truthful with you and himself. if a married guy is out sleeping with guys, then his wife doesn't really know him, does she? Maybe the key here is THINKING that you know someone. What you think and what is actual are sometimes two diffrent things. Also, people change during their lives too, or they decide that they need change.

I'd be interested in some of the opposite responses you got from the other boards, I wonder why they are so diffrent.

I think you are being too specific with the race aspect. Mixing the issue of race with the issue of cheating just confuses things.

If a boyfriend cheated on me, the colour of his skin would be the last thing on my mind.

I've heard a lot people say that but don't you think that if someone were actually dating you then it's more than just a sexual fetish to them.

No I don't because I could say I'm only into white guys. Which is not true because I've dated guys of all races. I'm a little more attracted to white guys but im not only attracted to white guys
