God doesn't have a problem with it. He doesn't consider it an 'abomination'. I learned many years ago that the original texts of the Bible state (paraphrased): "Man shall not lie with man in the marital bed. It is unclean." In the translations for the various versions of the Bible, the marital bed has been eliminated entirely and somehow it became an abomination.
God never said we couldn't do it. He just told us where not to do it.
