I work in retail. I am 31 years old. Alternative/punk look here. I have been talking with a younger coworker at work for a few months. We seem to really get along and have a few simular interests. He knows i am gay. He is the only one there who really knows. One night, he kept bringing up gay related topics. All night long. I am a pretty open guy, so i play along. Well, that happened the next time i worked with him. He proceeds to tell me that all gay guys hit on him. Just the way it is. (At this point, he has been telling me he is straight.). I joke around with him and tell him "Well, i have not hit on you!" He looks me right in the face and tells me " I am actually a bit bi-curious. Never been with a man before". Kinda smiles at me and i just freeze and stupidly change topics. (D'oh! I really like this kid too!) Nothing has been brought back up again. We get along a bit better now. I am now a friend on facebook and we text outside work occasionally. Was he just being open with me or do you think he is just a little curious? I would love to do anything this kid wants! (and he is like 10 years younger than me. I am generally not into younger guys but something about him.)

You should try to bring it up again, and find out if hes interested ;) Good luck! (!)

Why all the sneeking about? Just say or text: "Hey, I like the fact that you're curious. If you ever want to try something then let me know".

That way you throw the ball in his court and at the same time you respect his wishes if he does not want to do the gay thing.

If problems arise, it could affect your working together. There are things to think of before you get in his pants.

Make sure he is 18

Do a lunch away from work one day and spend some more time and lay out the law/rules about coworkers and sex. Sometimes it works out just fine but some can get nasty and someone leaves work, fired dont want to ruin a good friendship

you didn't ask for my advice but here goes...

a work buddy is a work buddy

a fuck buddy is a fuck buddy

it don't work if you fuck the wrong one

Yeah, a lot of curious straight guys will do this in privacy/confidence if given the chance. That usually means they're curious but afraid to say it, or not ready to act on it yet.

Wow, that guy's got guts. I would have been caught off guard, too.

I don't think he would have flat-out admitted that to you if he didn't mean it. A lot of straight guys are "gay flirts", but are usually more obvious about teasing you for attention.

Yes, but if you "leave the ball in their court", you risk making them lose the nerve to take it any further; i've spoken with more than a few guys who are attracted to the idea of experimenting with gay sex because they like the idea of another guy being in control, or taking them by the hand and offering their support through that confusing part of their life.

The majority of curious guys will try-it-and-not-like-it, but you can help some guys out of the closet if you play your cards right.

You've made a new friend, that's great! If something happens, let it happen naturally, don't push it.

Why will it end badly? Maybe if he's looking for a long term relationship, yes, it will end badly. But if both of you are looking to fool around, well, why would that necessarily end badly? Go for it. I'm at an age now where I'm looking back at all the awesome times I COULD HAVE HAD if I had had the guts to speak up and do something about it.

I think you'll never find out if you don't ask him. Caution is one thing, fear is another. Don't complicate this--sounds like you're on to something that may be a good thing.

Well I had a simular situation. Friends for 10 years and best friends for a year. One night on the way home from gambling it was late. We were talkn about sex and jackn and stuff. Just out of the blue he says, Hey dude, ya wanna pull over and jack? Wow!!! So we did. That's point number one. YA GOTTA ASK!
Then 4 weeks later he shows up at my house. Kinda hints around about whether I had seen any good porn on internet that morning. I'm like well no but lets go in and find some. Point 2 YA GOTTA ASK!!
The porn goes in my dick comes out and he's like, well I'll just join ya. Within 5 minutes he is coming in my hand and I'm licking his cum off my hand and jacking with what is left of it. Point 3, YA GOTTA TAKE ACTION!!! If the hints are there and he is there making them, then their is a reason. He wants it. Thats all I gotta say right now.

From my experience, I think he was just confiding in you because you'd understand.

Be his friend. Let him take the lead, if there's one.

I'm kinda along the same lines with this advice...he may simply be looking for some support or some kind of guidance from an outside perspective. If its meant to happen, it'll happen...don't force it.

I agree with these guys. Don't mix work and sex. it usually ends up as a loose loose

It's all good until other people find out you hooked up (like your bosses) and then they think you're a predator.

he obviously is looking for something ...if he said all that to u it sure means he wants to give a try! The problem is a str8 guy who tries gay sex can suddenly turn away from the guy he slept with because he feels ashamed or something. Ud better send some text message and keep it so if some day he accuses u of something u will have some proof of what he wanted...hope my english is clear enough...

HEAR, HEAR!!!

the 1st guy i ever fooled around with was a "str8" coworker i'd had a crazy crush on. he'd made a habit of making little comments and hints towards me. one night we left a party together, went back to his place and fooled around. i knew it was just sex, and wasn't expecting anything else. the next morning i leave, but get home and realize i'd forgotten something. went back to get it, and the fucker wouldn't even open the door. i figured he'd probably regretted what happened, and was freaking out a bit. i decided to just leave it alone, and we'd both forget about it.

Fast forward to Monday morning. i get to work, and this chick comes up to me and says that dude had told everyone that i made a pass at him and he'd had to shut me down, which couldn't have been further from the truth. not only was the encounter mutual, but HE made the 1st, 2nd and 3rd move. shy, and closeted as i was back then, i wouldn't have even THOUGHT about approaching a guy like that.

needless to say, it made for a very uncomfortable work experience, which led to me blowing off alot of days and getting fired.

i don't really know all the circumstances of YOUR situation, so the only "advice" i can give you is this: think long and hard about whether something that'll probably amount to little more than a quick hookup, is worth all the potential ramifications.

btw...10 years later and that guy is just a hot fucking mess!!! he's gained like 100lbs, and has 4 or 5 kids he can't take care of. in other words, he's turned into a real winner;)
