Personally I would rather see it hanging in front than behind. Just the idea of seeing it hanging out the backside seems wrong!

Does anyone really roll their toilet paper
in a rolled bundle like that?

I tend to hold the end in one hand and pull with the other,
and what I pull with one hand, I transfer to the first hand, and so on...
