your best 5 bands\artists

^*jealous*, no I haven't.

I'm just starting to get into After Forever, I bought one of their CDs this weekend, "Remagine", it sounds pretty good. I got to know them through WT, because Sharon did guest vocals on one of AFs songs :D.

I'm hoping the new NW singer's a good one too, not a Tarja clone. And I'm gonna do my best not compare her versions of the old songs with Tarja's, it just wouldn't be fair.

1. Lil' Kim
2. Aaliyah
3. Santogold
4. Blondie
5. Kiss

other honorable mentions....Notorious BIG!!! Pussycat Dolls, Nelly Furtado, Rihanna, Mary J Blige, M.I.A.

Remagine is good, but IMO it's their least good CD.

IMO, their first 2 albums (especially Decipher) were awesome.. but invisible circles was the best. from top to bottom, that album is solid.

Decipher is a classic.. with Mark writing most of the songs (he left the band after that album to form Epica), but they continued writing good songs after that album.

Sharon has an awesome voice.. i wish they'd visit North america.. i'd love to see them.

As for Nightwish, i heard strong rumours that the tristania singer is their new singer. we'll see.
It'll be hard to match songs like "ghost love score" and "Beauty of the beast".

After reading your other post, I "acquired" the other AF CDs (I would buy them, but they are hard to come by over here), and of what I've heard, Invisible Circles is fantastic, I love the concept of it, heartbreaking.

I do believe that WT are touring with Lacuna Coil in the US soon.

I trust that Tuomas'll choose the right singer. He's still on the epic streak, there'll be a 14 min track on the new CD :D
