Your best New Year's eve ever.

I was thinking about this today, as over the years I have done so many different things on a New Year's eve, including working, cubbing, dinner parties and curling up in bed with a new book at 9:30.

Probably though, one of my most memorable NY's was spent at the Baths in Toronto when I was in my early 20's.

Do you have one stand-out year?

This should be easy for me to figure out. My various job careers always seem to have me working on NYE. But I've really never done much on NYE or NYDay. The one I remember about 20 years ago was with my 2 closests friends. One friend was straight the other very gay. I was in the closet to my straight friend. We have a few drinks at my house. Nothing happened (sexually) but it was a good time. None of us got drunk...just a little buzzed.

Actually, maybe the last two, particularly the before-last one: were it not for me, my mother would have nobody to gobble with her the stupid Spanish "lucky grapes" at 23:59 every NYE, and in 2022 I REALLY found it painful to be there doing that and asking myself "REALLY?!?".
