What do you think the best film will be?

1. The Curious case of Benjamin Button
2. Milk
3. Frost/Nixon
4. Slumdog Millionaire

Probably Slumdog Millionaire.

Personally, I would love for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button to win!

I'd like to see "Milk" take it, of course. But, it will most probably be Slumdog...

(If I had my way it would be "WAL-E", but the Academy still can't pull it's proverbial stick out of it's collective ass....)

This was a great year for filmmaking and while all of the films nominated were well done in their own right, I feel that Milk should win. It excells in all areas.

The only other film that comes close to it is Slumdog Milionaire. Frost/Nixon was good, The Wrestler was way over-hyped (but a decent film), and the Curious Case of Benjamin Button felt way too much like Forrest Gump.

^ Where'd you get those numbers from BD?
Looks like that's an outright vote for Milk!!..|

I like Milk.

I think it should win every award for which it has been nominated.

Sean Penn is America's best actor, in my timid opinion.

Millionaire's the favorite. Button's the only possible upset - it IS among the top most nominated movies ever. But then, that didn't help the "The Color Purple" back in 1984.

My favorite for Best actor is Langella. Fat chance of winning. I'm betting on Sean Penn, Rourke could easily upset.

For actress, I know Winslet is due and i'm betting on her. But I'd love Meryl Streep to win again. It's been 25 years since she won an Oscar.

Best supporting actor is Ledger's although I have my reservations about his performance. i'd rather see Downey win. One truly due actor even if he had a fantastic year at the box office.

I'm betting on Cruz for Supporting actress. It's the only category where an upset would "upset" me.

I dont even think Slumdog should have been nominated. There were 10 better films than that (for 2008), let alone 5!

I really dont want to see a film that is just a glorified TV movie win Best Picture.
