Hello, all:

There have been a lot of scientific definitions/recommendations for safe(r) sex over the years. I was wondering how fellow JUBs feel about this and what practices they follow or simply ignore. Obviously, most safe sex practices involve condoms, but when do you use it? Anal - always, sometimes? Oral - never, sometimes, always?

In a nutshell, what is your list of safe sex act(s) that you practice in real life?

Anal always until six months into an exclusive LTR.
Oral not unless he insists on it.

There is no such thing as safe sex. Neither I nor Frankie has any diseases. But when we have sex, there are always a few bruises as we get around. We tend to start here and end up there, bumping into every hard surface in between. Not even a full suit of armor would protect!

I only have sex with my boyfriend. We only have oral sex (without protection). We may have anal sex in the future but I would use protection for that. In the distant future (like a year or two of the relationship) and after being tested together I would consider anal sex without protection.

Anal sex - Always use a condom, even if in a relationship. If it lasted for years and was exclusive, I would consider doing it without a condom only if we were both tested negative for everything and could be absolutely certain that the window period for anything was over.

Oral sex - Rarely use a condom, boyfriend or otherwise. I will if he insists on it, is hesitant about being clean, or if I met him completely randomly at a party and we go off into an alleyway or whatever. The older the guy, the more likely I am to use a condom during oral sex (more sexual partners with time).

Rimming - never used a dental dam. If a guy seems sketchy and I'm not trusting that he's clean, I just won't put my tongue there.

Fingering - never used a glove but wouldn't be opposed to it

Cum - definitely won't swallow anyone other than my bf
