Your fave "old school" Nick shows...

Kenan & Kel! I remember when i went to the Nickelodeon Studios at Universal Studios, FL in 2000; they said Kenan & Kel had been cancelled!

I too miss old school nick!

Doug, Rugrats, pete and pete (OMG! My friend who goes to NYU babysat the creator of pete and pete's children this past year!), and Clarissa.

Are you afraid of the dark and Secrect world of Alex Mack are among my favorites as well.

Oh what a fun trip back in the day!

P.S. I also currently am humming the themesong to Doug!

I did indeed get every episode of Rocko on DVD off eBay. They are so weird, crude, and inappropriate for kids it is fantastic! More kids should be watching Rocko instead of um... ...Dora the Explorer... I should have probably looked to download all those episodes, but it was a year and a half ago-- I was young and dumb!

My sister downloaded some Are you Afraid of the Dark episodes and they are GREAT!

I'm gonna go with cplmilt. I was in love with half of the cast of You Can't Do That on Television!!

Loved Pet & Pete and Rugrats

Anyone else cry at the ep where Chucky explained about his mum dying of cancer?

koala bears
mr. wizard- tried his experiments and made a mess of our kitchen
grimm's fairy tales
double dare- i choose a physical challenge
guts
pinwheel

Eureka's mother fuckin' castle! ..|

I loved the bat and I agree with huntneo

90's Nickelodeon > today's nick

In fact that goes for all children shows.

I just remembered an old one, but it's was on the Nick Jr schedule block. Eureka's Castle. I remember waking up to Nick Jr, now I can't remember those shows. Also what about Stick Stickly with Nick in the Afternoon?

Holy shit! I remember that dude! I loved that little guy.

I used to love Eureka's Castle in the early '90s! Just hearing that evokes fond memories.

Speaking of Nickelodeon, have any of you noticed how much Nick @ Nite has declined? It's just terrible.

i think they use to air the old 'my three sons' episodes, my favorite sitcom.

Yes I know this has been done before but after reading the MTV thread about old shows it made me think of all the old Nick shows I used to love to watch, which include:

-Oiginal Doug
-Clarissa Explains It all (first season dvd available)
-Pete and Pete (1st sesaon dvd available)
-Original Wild and Crazy Kids
-Figure It Out (i used to have the board game lol)
-Legends Of The Hidden Temple
-Guts (re-runs still come on game show network i believe)
-Original Are You Afriad Of The Dark?
-All That (with lori beth and josh)
-Original Double Dare
-Rockos Modern Life
-Hey Dude
-Taina
-Kenan (is that how you spell it?) and Kel
-AHH!! Real Monsters
-Salute Your Shorts
-The Angry Beavers
-Hey Arnold
-Rugrats (i didnt know that was cancelled in 04')
-The Amanda Show
-As Told By Ginger (my fave cartoon show EVER!!)

Rocko was my fav. Angry Beavers my second. I loved Hey Arnold and Real Monster. Rugrats was okay, Salute Your Shorts was always nice to kill some some time. All That was the Sh!t!

^ The Beets! I forgot all about them! (clearly a not so coy play on "The Beatles") Didn't they have a song called "Killer Tofu"?

Because they're not showing any of the classics anymore. Like I Love Lucy, Mary Tyler Moore-hell they don't even show those that much on TVLand lately.

Speaking of Nick @ Nite, The Wonder Years was the show I would stay up past bedtime to try and watch every night. I remember back in middle school, this guy I was crushing on resembled Fred Savage like you wouldn't believe. Not to mention I have a cousin who can pass for Winnie Cooper's long lost twin sister. Even to this day, everytime I see an old episode I immediately think of them. :-)

I'm straying just a bit, but I always had it bad for his younger brother Ben, of Boy Meets World fame.

I Love Lucy
Patty Duke
The Addams Family
Just Shoot Me\
Three's A Company
Munsters
Night Court
Star Trek
Little House on the Prairie
Other cartoon other ten Nick at nite are

Pepper Ann
The Week enders

They need to get these reailty shows off the air like How Did u Get So Rich.

I grew up Rugrats and Angry Beavers. They were always good to watch. When I got older though then I loved the shows of The Secret world of Alex Mack, Animorphs, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Kenan and Kel, and All That (the original cast). It was very hard to get me away from television on Saturday night when SNICK was on.

And the rugrats were not really cancelled Nick decided that Rugrats had went on for two long 10 or 11 years so they decided to do a spin off called All Grown Up after the rugrats movie of the same title.

Back then i really didn't enjoy Nick @ Nite aside from Lucy, and today since Roseanne isn't on it, i don't enjoy it too much either(seen The Nanny end to end on Lifetime, so no interest - Malcolm gets boring, Everybody Hates Chris gets boring, and who knows what else is on there). But i miss those cartoons.

I know Nick @ Nite was so much better back in the 90s where they actually played older shows from the 50s, 60s and some 70s now they are playing shows that were this decade and the previous one. Don't get me wrong I love the nanny and I like Malcolm. But seriously Everybody hates Chris and Malcolm in the Middle are playing on other channels like the CW and FX and they don't "specialize" on older television shows. Nick at Nite would have so many more viewers if they brought back the earlier shows like they use to.
