And not exactly "soul", but there's Judge Dread and his series of 70s "naughty" reggae numbers. They sounded as authentic as anything coming out of Jamaica at the time.



Apparently, reggae fans were thrown for a loop when they finally went to one of his concerts and saw...

The name didn't ring a bell so I googled. I cracked up because it turns out that Bonnie sings Never Ending Song of Love one of my Mom's favorite songs. That's one that I remember her singing around the house when I was 3 or 4.
