Dramas- Dynasty, Dallas, Dr. Quinn-Medicine Woman, Magnum P.I., Adam 12, Dragnet with Jack Webb
Comedies- I Love Lucy, Designing Women, Golden Girls, Burns and Allen (Look it up on YouTube- The Burns And Allen Show Gracie Allen was hysterical! Their son was very handsome) Don't be afraid of vintage, black and white television.

Drama: "Total Recall 2070"

In the year 2070 "Recall Vacations" are the most popular form of recreation, until a series of Recall customer murders engage the Citizens Protection Bureau, CPB, to investigate. To everyone's shock the murderers are Androids! How is that possible when Androids are programmed not to harm humans?

From that amazing year - 1999, "Total Recall 2070" is a television show that looks like a movie. Amazing TV and it's on YouTube.

How can you not love Deep Space Nine????

I kind of go back and forth with Deep Space Nine and The Next Generation as far as which one I like best. Personally I think DS9 had the best writing and character development of any of the Star Treks. Pesonally I could not stand Voyager, I found most of the main characters including the captain to be annoying twats.

Also Game of Thrones rates very highly as one of my favorite shows, along with Dexter and Mad Men.

As far as comedys go, I'm not much for sit-coms, but I do love satire, especially in cartoon form. Harvey Birdman, Archer, Venture Brothers(probably my favorite show ever lol), Robot Chicken, Family Guy, King of the Hill.
