dpnice.. For us here merde you can hear it all the time it's nothing even it's sweet.

I must admit that as it is a swear word in a foreign language it doesn't seem to be so for me and therefore slips out more frequently than it should.

In no situation would I use "shit" in my everyday language when speaking English.

The word is "fuck." I find it so useful in so many situations -- I know there was a thread that had a link describing the varied ways that the word can be used. I can tell someone to "go fuck themselves" or when I slam my finger in the door, I can simply use the term, "fuck."

I would probably follow it with the "dirty" word, "shit."

Such great words with such versatility!
