I've seen very little of the short-film anime. Mostly what I've seen was full-length.

On my Great List:

A Wind Named Amnesia (my favorite by far)

something with Steamboy, but I forgot the names (a couple things)

I remember years ago when SciFi Channel used to show anime full-length films in the middle of the night on Saturday nights.

TSUBASA RESERVOIR CHRONICLE!!!!!!!!!!!! this anime is AWESOME. to be appreciated fully, you must read the manga. XD the ending of the whole anime is in the manga so you can't appreciate it without reading the manga.

if you want tocomplete it, watch it in this manner, watch Tsubasa:Reservoir Chronicle seasons 1 and 2, then watch OVA1 (all episodes), then read chapters 141- 167, then watch OVA2 ( all episodes) then read capter 183 till the end. i guarantee you'll like it. i SWEAR!!! it became messy because the time when they made the anime, the manga is still on going, so you have to complete it this way so you can enjoy it!

Fushigi Yugi is also one of my favorite animes!!!

I used to be a huuuge Eva fan when I was 15, that show defined anime. I'm going to start watching the new one once I have the time to, but it's been so long since I've watched any anime. Last thing I was into was Ergo Proxy and that wasn't bad at all.

I'm still convinced that Black Swan was a remake of Perfect Blue, one of my favorite anime films.

Rave and FairyTail are also good. you need to read the manga though so that you can enjoy it!
